No, I’m not coming back to Xanga. But if you still update here, I want to know. So please leave a comment, and I can subscribe to you via RSS. :P Thanks!

Work today was interesting. I ran into several TJ-related people. Justin/I-Rong for one. ^^ And some Allan/Allen/Alan guy, who’s a rising senior. And another Alan who’s a childhood friend of Sylvia Chen. And one of Charlie’s friends. And Leila. I also saw Marissa Cheplick (sp?) from Longfellow days. New clothes tomorrow. Blah. They made me stay late to help set up for tomorrow. I am so sick of denims and All-Access Passes. I feel like I’ve become a broken tape recorder or whatever. Blahhhhh.

Anyway, I’m torrenting a zillion albums because I’m bored of my current songs. Right now, I’m adding the NSync Greatest Hits one. ZOMG, <3 boy bands. Haha. “Every little thing I do never seems enough for you.” HAHAHA, there’s a This I Promise You in Spanish. That’s disgusting. “It’s tearin’ up my heart when I’m with you, and when we are apart, I feel it TOO! And no matter what I do, I feel the pain, with or without you!” ZOMG. I don’t understand why we can’t be lovers! HAHA, Britney Spears is next. Love. I’m a slaaaaave 4 u! OMG, You Drive Me Crazy!! HAHA, and Stronger! Oh, man! Anna (5th grade best friend) and I had so much fun lipsyncing to these songs. AHHH. “Everytime you look at me, my heart is jumping. It’s easy to see you drive me crazy!” Hm, I forgot Baby One More Time. Love. Me Against the Music. For sure. Michelle Branch sounds stuffy in the acoustic version of All You Wanted.

Yeah, also, I’m in love with water.

It sucks to have both a fever and a migraine at the same time. ’cause you know you should be sleeping, but you can’t.

On a happier note, I swallowed my FIRST PILL!! =DD (without the assistance of food, that is) I’m so excited!

Just ’cause I’m cool, here’s something from Franny:

LYRICS aggregation.

7+ words from each song. Try to identify them! Go (sequentially) through a shuffled playlist and try to make sense, skipping lyricless songs and liberally placing punctuation. Yay for timesucks.

I said this before, no matter how hard I tried, I never thought I’d die alone. Never thought I’d have this feeling, never thought I’d get this far. Every time I’m falling down, all alone, I fall to pieces. I can’t live with or without you. It’s to dying in another’s arms, why I had to try it.

And there he reads a letter beneath the lion’s gaze. Whoa, I’m tired of looking at you. That was then, this is now, love is all you need. Stay quiet, stay near, stay close, they can’t hear. Is she troubled like I’m troubled? Blinded by passion, you foolishly let someone in. But what am I to do without you, without you, without you? I’ll die if I don’t get a chance to make this just right.

If you could see what’s come over me, then you would know. Oh, take me back to the start. Would it be enough to live on if my love could keep you alive? You could take it for a ride, you might need it to outrun what’s on your mind. You left me with goodbye and open arms. Listen to my heart, can you hear it sing? Oh, how I wish I were the treasure that you were looking for. Could this be real, ’cause I can’t sleep, I can’t hold still. This time I won’t let you bring me down, won’t let you shut me up. You’ve got a wicked style, I like the way that you are, I am your biggest fan. Paint yourself a picture, waste another picture.

I kind of liked it your way, how you shyly placed your eyes on me. The sun is getting high, we’re moving on. Is this more than you bargained for? And you are by my side, we’re talking about our lives; we’ve known each other forever. Gotta live it one time before it’s over — we will make history tonight. Give me one more chance to make things last. Crimson and clover, over, and over, crimson and clover, over, and over. I will sail through the eye of the storm just to die in your arms.

WaRpEd ToUr 2005!!!

Got up at 7:30. Tessa + Nooli came to pick me up and we drove off! We got there about two hours early at 9:00. A lot of people were already there. Two band members (different bands) came up to us to advertise their music, but we politely declined buying their CD and told them we’d drop by their tent later. Lines started forming, and we went to go sit in a line. Waited for an hour and half for the gates to open. Finally went in, except NO~ we weren’t allowed to bring in water if it was opened already. *rolls eyes* That has to be one of the stupidest policies I’ve ever heard. Not to mention that their water cost $3.

First went to the Jack’s Mannequin tent (obviously). Go check them out! Met Casper, Andrew’s manager person. If you haven’t heard of Andrew, then you definitely don’t know Tessa now know that he is the lead singer of Something Corporate! Wandered around to the other tents. Found a schedule and worshipped it. Went to go see Mae with Tessa. Go check them out! They had an amazing life performance — so much energy and enthusiasm! … but at one point Nooli left us, and we lost her for the rest of the day. =\

Then went to go get signings from Mae. They were very nice and let us take a picture with them (more on this later). Wandered around some more to buy some merchandise and visit tents. Tessa went to go see Paramore, which played on the Shiragirl’s stage even though there was only one girl in the band. Got some free stuff. ^^ Took some pictures of tent booths of bands I liked. Since Tessa didn’t want to go to My Chemical Romance and we didn’t want to risk losing each other like we had lost Nooli, we didn’t.

Got into the Fall Out Boy signing line about an hour and a half early. In the burning sun. Forced to listen to the awful east coast indie bands play. Yuck. Annoying people kept trying to cut in line — well, if you SAW how long the line was, you’d probably want to cut too. This bitchy girl who was in charge of the signing was trying to make us stand in a single file line. She was also passing out this passport thingy to let us get signatures, but refused to give them to some people (like Tessa and the people behind us). Idiot. Then we demanded for them, and she exasperatedly gave them to us. So. Fall Out Boy signature. Let’s see. They wouldn’t let us take pictures WITH them nor OF them. Stupid, neh? Oh, because of waiting in line for the signing, I didn’t get to go see Relient K play. Check them out! =\ So stupid. While we’re on that topic, Matchbook Romance (check them out!) dropped out. =\

Went to go see Jupiter Sunrise play at the myspace tent. OMG, check them out! They are absolutely amazing (more on this later), and the lead singer Mark ish~ vera~~ cute. ^^; They played Kaye!! *dies* When I went to their tent earlier, I told the person there that my favorite song was Kaye, and he was like “Oh, I sung that song!” And wow, I was like TALKING to Mark! *dies* But I didn’t know! Hahaha. Okay, yeah.

Went to go to wait by Bishop Stage to hear Fall Out Boy play in like two hours. Yeah. We became very good at waiting in the heat, yo. Had to withstand all of that metal screamo crap of “music”. Even Story of the Year went screamo. -_-; Ew. And they all cursed so much. And there was so much smoking. God. I think I’m going to die early due to all of that CO exposure. Yuck. Went into the mosh pit to hear Fall Out Boy play. Um. Wow. Sweaty, hot, got pushed around a lot, and all these stupid crowd surfers kept falling on us. One of them fell on a girl in front of us and the girl started attacking the guy until her mom pulled her away. Ouch. So the songs I recognized that FOB played were Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down, Grand Theft Autumn, and I Slept with Someone in Fall Out Boy and all I got was this Stupid Song Written About Me. And one more, but don’t know the name of the song.

Mmm, then waited for like 3+ hours for my mom to come. We got kicked out of the Nissan Pavillion, and we went to go sit in front of the tour buses. We started talking about random things ’cause we were so bored. This one guy came over trying to sell this philosophical art magazine. Then another guy came over. He said he was going around to meet people and we seemed friendly. The minute he said he was from Jupiter Sunrise, we both screamed with elation. He sold us two CDs both at a discount (I think… lol) and invited us into his bus. We went eagerly. It was so cool. He asked for our names twice and also signed our CDs, so hopefully he’ll remember who we are. He was Ben (one of the guitars + vocals — Mark is the other). We also met Aaron (bassist), and I think we met Chris (drums + vocals) too at one point on the bus, but then he disappeared into the bathroom. Wow. They all signed (‘cept Mark, who was asleep). They told us a lot about their band’s history, and we invited them to come to VA. Yay. So much fun. Then went home.

Tessa and I in front of the Jack’s Mannequin tent. My teeth are blue ’cause I ate one of those italian ice things that was blue raspberry flavored. Go figure. And it cost $5. For this small cup. Ugh.

Sachi!! I saw her when Mae was playing. Well, she saw me. We also saw Ora + Christina Beasley at Warped, and I think I saw Emily Hillenbrand, but I’m not sure if it was her.

Inside Jupiter Sunrise’s bus! That’s Ben showing Tessa something about their CD. They left a code for us to decipher. Very cool.

Also inside Jupiter Sunrise’s bus. The guy in the back is Chris, I think.
